Pinnacle Sentara BaitCast Reel
The reel features an internally adjustable six-arm centrifugal brake to
provide the additional breaking force to help prevent backlash. To access the
brake, unscrew the screw located on the left side cover and turn the cover 1/4
turn forward (counter-clockwise). Remove the cover. You will notice a black
and silver disk on the spool. On the disk are the numbers 0 thru 6 and an
indicator mark. When the mark is a 0 the minimum centrifugal force is applied
to slow the spool. The outer black part of the disk can be turned to increase
or decrease the braking force. The proper setting will depend on your
particular casting style. A higher setting (3 or more) is recommended until you
are comfortable with the casting characteristics of the reel.
